Aaron Ramsdale has hilariously called out actor Will Ferrell ahead of England’s clash with USA, labelling him ‘w**ker man’.

The Arsenal star is part of Gareth Southgate’s England squad for their second Group B clash in which they’ll face Ferrell’s home nation with the hope of securing a spot in the next round.

Ferrell is a huge football fan due to his involvement with MLS side LAFC, with the comedic actor currently in London promoting his new Christmas film, Spirited.

Renowned as one of Hollywood’s top comedians for his role in Anchorman and Elf among others, he found himself embroiled in a light-hearted war of words with Ramsdale who threatened to put ‘Elf on the shelf’.

Addressing Ferrell on Capital Radio, Ramsdale said: “Hi Will, it’s Aaron Ramsdale.

“You’re a great actor and a hero of mine, I love watching your films.

“But, when we play your nation on Friday, you’ll be the worst actor in the world.

“Elf will be on the shelf and it will be a little less Anchorman and more w**ker man. Take care pal.”

Ferrell was clearly outraged by Ramsdale’s hilarious verbal assault and fired back with some words of his ownTwitter: CapitalOfficial

There was no way that the quick wit of Ferrell was going to take Ramsdale’s ‘threats’ lying down, with the ‘Step Brothers’ actor coming back with some fighting talk of his own.

“Mr Aaron Ramsdale,” he said.

“Aaron, you don’t realise I know where you live, and I’m delivering a bag of sh*t to your doorstep.

“I’m going to light it on fire, and you’re going to have to stomp it out. All right, Aaron!”

Ramsdale will be hoping to have the last laugh when England face USA on FridayAFP

Asked if England should be worried, Ferrell added: “They’re not going to sleep at night.

“Because they’re insomniacs.”

He was then asked for his score prediction, saying: “I think it’s going to be a slaughter, claiming England will lose 3-0.

There’s only one way to settle this…
