Last year’s winner Guardiola is aiming to pick up his fourth award in five seasons as City seek four more points that would guarantee them the Premier League title.
Klopp has guided Liverpool to the cusp of the title after a fantastic second-half of the season.
The Reds have lost the fewest number of games this season (2) and have amassed no fewer than 89 goals.
Other nominees for the award include Newcastle United’s Eddie Howe, who only took the reins at St James’ Park in November following the club’s Saudi-led takeover.
Howe has steered the Magpies away from the brink of relegation to a comfortable 14th place with a top-half finish within their grasp.
Newcastle had registered just five points when Howe took charge with the club now on 43 points after a staggering turnaround.
They will become the first-ever Premier League club to beat the drop after recording no wins in their first 14 matches.
